Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
This policy explains how the Kezulo iOS app and this website handle your information. Kezulo is designed to keep your study data under your control.
Data stored on your device
Your decks and cards are created and stored locally on your device. This content stays on your device unless you enable iCloud sync (below).
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, Kezulo may sync your study data with your private iCloud database (Apple’s CloudKit). This keeps your decks and cards available across your own devices signed in to the same Apple ID. This data lives in your private iCloud database; it is handled by Apple under Apple’s terms and is not shared with us as an analytics feed.
AI features
Kezulo’s AI features are optional. When you use AI card generation or the Ask AI tutor, the text you provide — the notes or topic you enter, and the context of the card you are studying — is sent to the Kezulo AI proxy.
The proxy forwards your request to Anthropic, which generates the AI response that is returned to the app. The Kezulo proxy does not intentionally log the prompts you send. Anthropic may process the submitted text in order to provide the AI response. If you do not use the AI features, no card text is sent off your device for AI processing.
Analytics & tracking
Currently, Kezulo does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers, in the app or on this website. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy.
Deleting your data
You can delete decks and cards at any time within the app. Deleting content in the app removes it from your device, and — if iCloud sync is enabled — from your private iCloud database on your next sync.
